The Mercator Ocean International team works to advance the field of operational oceanography:

Mercator Ocean International has produced a few videos presenting members of its team in order to showcase its work, ocean related issues, and its work environment.

Mercator Ocean has an international team working on various subjects and collaborating with partners and stakeholders worldwide to improve the state of oceanographic knowledge. Mercator Ocean International also implements the Copernicus Marine Service, one of 6 services of the flagship European Union Earth observation initiative, the Copernicus Programme.

In near real time, on a global and regional scale, on the surface and below, Mercator Ocean describes, analyses and forecasts the state of the ocean. The company includes many oceanographers and technical experts that produce data and information on a daily basis across the blue (physical), white (sea ice) and green (biogeochemical) ocean. Our  communications and marketing experts work to bring this information to a global audience, while our Service Desk experts work directly with users. And of course, there is no shortage of qualified managers to keep the whole system running smoothly!
