Dr. Angélique Melet from Mercator Ocean International emphasizes the urgent need to reduce emissions to prevent 2023’s extreme temperatures from becoming the new normal. She states that we have a window of a few years to mitigate the impacts of climate change by rapidly cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
