Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center

The NERSC models physical ocean processes, marine ecosystem and data assimilation with applications towards operational oceanography, marine research, and climate research.

It also delivers insitu and satellites observations  of sea level, ocean currents, mesocales ocean dynamics and sea ice.

Through the Copernicus Marine Arctic MFC, the NERSC provides 10 days ahead as well as reanalyses over the past 25 years of the ocean currents, temperature, salinity, primary production, sea ice and waves.
